Thermal Camera Integration That Is Simple, Secure, And Powerful

Using thermal cameras to measure body temperature is an efficient, non-contact, non-invasive, cost-effective, and reasonably accurate solution to detect individuals with fever.

First introduced in 2002 in response to the SARS epidemic, AI technology is experiencing rapid and increasing global adoption in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

  • Alert in real-time upon detection of an elevated temperature
  • Identify and highlight subjects in a crowd with a high temperature
  • Provide a map or geolocation data associated with the identified individual
  • Alert on camera issues that may cause false positives
  • Act in concert with VMS or additional systems
  • The IronYun converged analytics platform provides the intelligence with a sophisticated video analytics platform based on 4th generation AI.

IronYun’s AI-enabled thermographic analytics integrates with the Ganz Dual thermal cameras to receive images of individuals crossing a camera threshold or defined perimeter.

The AI simultaneously detects people, faces and temperature and can actually enhance the accuracy of the thermal camera hardware. IronYun then has the integrated intelligence to process this information.

This provides the basis for:

  • Fast, accurate real-time alerts
  • Temperature logging and contact tracing
  • Seamless, automated, multi-factor access control

The Vaidio AI Vision Platform orchestrates and integrates multiple AI engines to support the industry’s broadest array of video analytics. IronYun uses next-generation artificial intelligence to quickly analyze and process live or stored video for object, person or vehicle search, perimeter security, access control, LPR, and more.

Vaidio effectively eliminates the need to deploy different and incompatible point solutions. It also allows users to search across multiple analytics engines simultaneously: search for a man, in his twenties, wearing black, carrying a backpack, with an elevated temperature.

This kind of federated, intelligent search can generate more accurate and targeted results than a single detection solution operating in a silo.

The Vaidio-Ganz temperature screening system has recently been successfully piloted at a leading automobile manufacturing plant in the U.S. Southwest. The plant has over 2,000 employees needing temperature screening before they can start their workday. Initially, two employees manually measured each employee before entry to the plant floor, and it took about an hour to clear the long entry lines.

The plant deployed two Vaidio-Ganz screening systems at two entry doors and was able to accurately scan and identify high temperatures for their employees as they entered the plant, in real-time, at their normal walking pace, completely eliminating the temperature screening bottleneck. The company estimates that the system achieved full ROI payback within two days.
